This is a Hybrid position, required to go into the Bellevue office Wednesdays and Thursdays for collaboration days.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of outbound Sales Development Representatives to exceed new pipeline targets within the assigned territory
- Provide leadership, development, and training to the Sales Development team
- Hire, onboard, retain, and promote amazing talent
- Monitor key performance indicators for a team of Outbound Sales Development Representatives
- Work collaboratively with cross functional partners, such as marketing, sales analytics, sales operations, and marketing operations, to optimize systems and workflows for peak output within the Sales Development organization
- Where relevant, implement new processes & tools to help improve the output of the Sales Development organization
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Sales closing experience in a software company or similar
- Experience working with Salesforce.com, Outreach.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales productivity tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Leadership experience in a sales organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Uphold GitHub’s leadership principles
- High energy and positive attitude
- Ability to work across different time zones, particularly the US Pacific Time Zone; comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed, resourceful, proactive
- Knowledge of Git and GitHub workflows
Compensation Range
USD $78,240.00 - USD $145,320.00 /Yr.
In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role.
