Adobe’s Corporate Development team strategically identifies, sources, evaluates, and drives Adobe’s inorganic growth roadmap through acquisitions and venture investments. Adobe Ventures, within Corporate Development, invests in exceptional founders and teams to accelerate our shared vision of changing the world through digital experiences. We have a long history of partnering with inventors, entrepreneurs, and their teams, and work closely with our portfolio companies to provide support and guidance, so they can evolve, innovate, and make an impact.

The Strategy & Operations team provides thematic thinking and critical operations partnership for the Corporate Development team. We are looking for an organized, thoughtful, and proactive Venture Program & Operations Manager to help drive success for Adobe Ventures and our portfolio companies and teams. You will create impact by helping to develop operations and workflows that drive connection between Adobe and the portfolio companies and across the portfolio, reporting to senior executives and bringing in collaborators throughout the company. You will have an outstanding opportunity to lead independent projects and gain exposure through special projects. In addition, as part of our Strategy, Design and Emerging Products (SDE) business operations team, you will get broader visibility and experience into “new frontier” initiatives for the company, including elevating work at Adobe through safe and responsible use of gen AI.

What You'll Do: 

Portfolio Management & Operations:

  • Maintain a comprehensive view of our Ventures portfolio (recent investments, contact details etc.)
  • Prepare quarterly portfolio updates for Adobe executives, working with our internal investment team.
  • Deepen our communications & media presence, including social (e.g., LinkedIn) and website content to showcase the accomplishments of the Adobe Ventures team and our investment portfolio
  • Support internal Adobe introductions (including outreach and scheduling) to help facilitate partnership discussions
  • Partner with internal Adobe points of contact and the portfolio companies to ensure a positive working relationship and value realization
  • Develop and manage internal Adobe Advisory Board who can act as a sounding board for our portfolio companies and help deliver valuable insight, support, and mentorship across key functional areas (e.g., GTM, Finance, HR and Product operations)

Programming & Events

  • Build and implement a calendar of activities that can help enrich our portfolio’s experiences (e.g., strategic workshops, events, social networking etc.)
  • Explore potential ways of working with other investors within our ecosystem (e.g., co-hosted events)
  • Run operational budget for events and other key initiatives
  • Implement standard processes to define and measure success for portfolio development programs and initiatives

Other

  • Build relationships with founders and our internal collaborators to identify additional opportunities to support key and demonstrate Adobe’s value as a strategic investor
  • Partner with Corporate Development Strategy and Operations leader on special projects.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Undergraduate degree from a top university in Business, Finance, Economics or similar field. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal and project management skills. 
  • Attention to detail. Strong work ethic. Proactive self-starter. Calm. High EQ and business intuition. Able to adapt to fast paced, ambiguous environments. High learning agility. Consummate teammate.
  • Big picture thinking, intellectual curiosity, and experience working with leaders and cross functional groups.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and memo formats. Expertise in Microsoft Office Tools
  • Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in business operations, project management, BD or similar environments. Experience in strategy and operations at technology companies or VC is a plus.
  • Work out of one of Adobe’s San Francisco Bay offices – San Jose or San Francisco – two times per week

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $77,900 -- $156,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
